Abstract Floral Patterns

"The focus and theme of my work will focus on the different decorative patterns of flowers. My painting process involved multiple works of flowers with only using acrylic paint as my medium. I wanted to pursue this theme because gardening has become one of my passions that my mother introduced me to. Furthermore, I have always been interested in the color theory behind pattern painting that had become a crucial component in my works. The best way to interpret my works is to see the color and flower pattern relationship. Through understanding this relationship, you see harmony of how they come together. My works carry out a sparkling positive energy because of the harmony of the color and pattern relationship. My series of work is dedicated to Professor John Figura who has tremendously helped and inspired me in this Project."
