Gallery Owner and Entrepreneur

Molly has been involved with the arts for the past 25 years. She began in a partnership with her son, Paul Ruppert. They developed and curated an arts space located in three buildings: the Warehouse, Warehouse Theater, and Warehouse Arts on 7th Street NW in DC.

Many local theater companies got their start in the Warehouse Theater. Gala Hispanic Theatre was located there for a while, as well as many music concerts, performance art events, and dance performances. It was the home for ArtRomps, which were large art extravaganzas hosting anywhere from twenty to a hundred artists. Twenty ArtRomps were held with a great following and included music and performances.

After selling the buildings, Molly began curating shows at other galleries. In the past 5 years, she has focused on contemporary-themed group shows mainly at Pyramid Atlantic, the 3 Floor, Otis Street Arts, and Dupont Gallery.

Molly is a graduate of Catholic University, and received her degree in English Literature. She also took part in Father Hartke’s Summer High School Theater Program.

Molly has a family legacy at Catholic University. Her grandfather taught at Catholic and several of her uncles, cousins, siblings and children are graduates.
