Kathryn Parr, Catholic '25, is a BFA in Acting student from Fairfax, VA. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Rome School, and what advice she has for prospective students.

Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art?

"I felt that the Rome School's acting program offered an intensive course of study in my chosen major while still offering a broader liberal arts education."

Why did you choose to study music, drama, and art?

"I am very passionate about performing and storytelling, I am specifically interested in presenting fully fleshed-out female characters both on stage and in media."

What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?

"I love engaging with the art and culture around DC from the Smithsonian museums to performances all over the greater DC Metro Area."

What advice would you give to prospective students?

"Don't be afraid to leave campus and experience what all of DC has to offer."
