Gallery Owner and Vice President of the Gold Coast Jazz Society
Sheila has owned several art galleries in both Cleveland and Fort Lauderdale, and currently serves as the Vice President of the Gold Coast Jazz Society, where she works on development efforts.
Sheila has long been a supporter of both Jazz and Symphony in Fort Lauderdale, while having a special interest in music for school children at risk. She was previously a board member for the PACE Center for Girls, Broward, where she created an art development therapy program and initiated website fundraising for the Center. She supports Rainey Institute in Cleveland and Guitars over Guns. In addition, she initiated the braille Lego Program for the Lighthouse of Broward, and has an extensive background in travel photography.
Her late husband (CUA ’54) was an internationally known ophthalmologist, with whom she had the pleasure of working with for 37 years as an ophthalmic medical practice administrator, technician, and photographer.
Sheila studied speech and drama and graduated with an undergraduate degree from MacMurray College.
